Grants

The Governor's Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) has a responsibility for distributing approximately $20 Million in state and federal funds each year. Public and private sector organizations that address one or more of the issues identified by GOYFF can apply for these funds. Grants are then awarded through a formal application process called a Request for Grant Application.

AmeriCorps State Grant Program

The AmeriCorps State Grant Program Request for Grant Application No. AC-VSG-18-090118-00 solicitation closed on May 10, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.  The following organizations submitted an application by the due date and time in eCivis, the State of Arizona’s web-based grants system, for the bid opening:

As indicated in the RFGA materials, a review committee will evaluate these applications.  This particular grant competition requires two stages of evaluator reviews, both at the State and Federal Corporation for National and Community Service levels.  The results of the competition shall be announced before the start of the anticipated contract start date of September 1, 2018.

 

Volunteer Generation Fund Grant Program

A Request for Grant Application (RFGA) Solicitation concerning the Volunteer Generation Fund Grant
Program, RFGA No. AC-VGF- 18-060118- 00 has been released and is now available on the State of
Arizona’s eCivis grant management system at https://gn.ecivis.com/GO/gn_redir/T/1tltxr8u91ao3. Access to
solicitation documents requires an eCivis account creation and log-in registration, free of charge to
users.

The Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family invites grant applications from Arizona entities that
include Indian Tribes; Institutions of Higher Education; Local Governments: Nonprofit organizations; and
States.

The Volunteer Generation Fund grants will be used to develop and/or support community-based entities
to recruit, manage, and support volunteers. The grants will support efforts that expand the capacity of
volunteer connector organizations to recruit, manage, support and retain individuals to serve in high
quality volunteer assignments.

Applications will involve use of the web-based system, eCivis, the State of Arizona’s web-based
system.

Grant Solicitation Notices

The Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) uses the Arizona State Procurement Office’s ProcureAZ eProcurement system when issuing “Letters of Intent to Issue a Solicitation” for Request for Grant Applications (RFGAs).  If interested in receiving an e-mail notification from the ProcureAZ system, it is the sole responsibility of a potential applicant to register in the ProcureAZ system.  Applicants should choose the Human Services Commodity Code 952 and select at least two subcategories of service that are the most representative of your organization’s activities.  The ProcureAZ notices about GOYFF’s RFGAs are sent to all the categories under 952.
